California SOS Switches Several Filings to Online-Only Starting July 1

Beginning July 1st, as part of its ongoing efforts to streamline filings through its online system and improve security, the California SOS is no longer accepting paper filings for the following:

  • LLC Certificates of Dissolution and Cancellation

  • Resignation of Agent for Service of Process

  • Corporation Certificates of Election, Dissolution and Surrender

  • Nonprofit Certificates of Election and Dissolution
